Splitting shared workshop costs, automatically
If you run more than one printer out of the same space, you've probably done this maths by hand at some point: take the rent, divide it by however many machines (and people) are actually there, and hope you remember to redo it next time something changes.
Additive Atlas does this automatically. Assign a printer or a staff member to a Location, and that location's monthly rent splits evenly across everyone currently assigned there - each counts as one occupant. Move a printer to a different workshop, add a new staff member, or retire a machine, and everyone else's share recalculates itself immediately. Nothing to remember, nothing to get quietly out of date.
Filament systems (multi-material units, dryers) don't count as their own occupant - if one's attached to a printer, its cost rides along with that printer's; if it's freestanding, its cost is recovered through that location's printers instead, since only printers and staff can actually split a location's rent.
This feeds directly into every hardware cost figure across the app - Printers, the Dashboard, and Business → Operating Costs all read from the exact same calculation, so they can never disagree with each other.
Set it up under Operations → Locations, then assign printers on Workshop Layout and staff on Staff Location.
