Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. There's no trial period and no credit card required to sign up. The Free plan is a genuinely usable, complete version of Additive Atlas, not a time-limited demo.

What happens if I go over my plan's limits?

Nothing you've already saved is affected. You'll be prompted to upgrade before you can add further records past your plan's limit, so you're never charged unexpectedly or locked out of what you've already built.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes - plans are arranged directly with us rather than through automated in-app billing today, so contact us whenever you want to change plans and we'll sort it out with you directly.

Do calculations ever get limited?

No. Every calculation - manufacturing cost, sale price, cost recovery and everything else - is unlimited on every plan, including Free. Plan limits only apply to how many printers, locations, filament systems and saved products you can store at once.

Is my data safe if I stay on the Free plan?

Yes - every plan uses the exact same underlying app and the exact same data protections. A paid plan only raises how much you can save, it doesn't change how your data is handled.

What counts toward my plan's limits?

Only the records you save permanently - printers, locations, filament systems, and saved products. Calculations, quotes, and everything you do with those records aren't counted separately; it's purely a question of how many of each thing exists in your account at once.

I deleted some records - does that free up room?

Yes. Your plan's limit is checked against what currently exists, not a lifetime total, so removing an old printer or an unused product immediately frees up a slot for a new one.

Do you offer a discount for paying annually?

Not set up yet - plans are arranged directly with us for now (see above), so if annual billing would help, mention it when you contact us.
