Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Additive Atlas, a product built and operated by Alkaid Works Ltd. By creating an account or using the app, you're agreeing to them.

The service

Additive Atlas helps you cost, price and manage a 3D-printing business or workspace - tracking hardware, staff, materials, and turning a manufacturing cost into a customer-facing sale price. Some tools (the Cost Calculator and Sales Calculator) are available without an account; the full app requires a free account.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to legally enter into an agreement like this one in your country to create an account.

Your data

Everything you enter into Additive Atlas - your products, costs, pricing and business records - belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it for anything other than providing the service back to you. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how we handle it.

Plans and pricing

Additive Atlas is offered on a free plan with paid plans available for larger workspaces, each with its own record limits, as shown on our Pricing page. Paid plans are arranged directly with us for now rather than through automated in-app billing - contact us to discuss upgrading. We'll tell you clearly before anything changes about what a plan includes or costs.

Acceptable use

Please use Additive Atlas only for its intended purpose - running your own printing business or workspace. Don't use it to store or process data you don't have the right to, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service, or resell access to the app without our agreement.

Accuracy of calculations

Additive Atlas calculates costs and prices based entirely on the figures you enter - hardware costs, staff pay, material prices, and so on. We build these calculations carefully and explain exactly how each one works on our Calculations reference once you're signed in, but the results are only as accurate as your own inputs, and remain your responsibility to check before relying on them for real pricing decisions.

Availability

We aim to keep Additive Atlas available and reliable, but like any software service we can't guarantee it will always be free of downtime, bugs, or interruptions. We'll do our best to fix problems promptly and to give notice of planned maintenance where practical.

Limitation of liability

Additive Atlas is provided as a business tool to support your decisions, not as a guarantee of any particular business outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alkaid Works Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including losses relating to pricing decisions made using figures the app calculated from data you provided.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may update Additive Atlas, or these terms, as the product evolves. If we make a significant change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and flag it inside the app.

Ending your account

You can stop using Additive Atlas at any time. If you'd like your account and data removed entirely, email privacy@additiveatlas.com and we'll action it - see our Privacy Policy for more on how account deletion currently works. We may also suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.
